Chronicles of my chronic illness (rheumatoid arthritis), a daughter (Hannah) born with a Dandy-Walker brain malformation, and the usual--often funny--stuff of parenting three girls.

Dear Ardy...
The lost were found!
The girls left these Beany Babies, given to them by Ardy, in a bathroom at Hot Sulphur Springs. SuperCarl retrieved them the next day.
I am so happy they got their babies back!!! When you told us about the back seat tears, I hope SOMEbody could pull off a miracle- no surprise that it was SuperCarl.
Glad you found the Beanies! Losing a favorite critter can be sooooooo traumatic for a kiddo! I left my stuffed Tony the Tiger behind at a motel when I was a kid, and even though my Dad drove back to get him, Tony never surfaced again! I must have been traumatized, 'cause I remember the incident so many years later!
Veggie Mom-- Poor Tony! Who knows, though. Maybe someone found him, preserved him, and in a decade or so you'll see him on Antiques Roadshow!
WAIT! Now I'm hesitating to post that because I don't want you to think I'm saying YOU'RE an antique. OK? I'm pretty sure I've got you beat on the chronological scale. :)

Yes, SuperCarl to the rescue again. Maybe I should get him a cape...Nah. The ego would be unbearable! :)
Kathleeny-Beany-- The smiles were definitely shining that day!
