Katie painted her toenails before school this morning, then failed to put away the
Sunny Coral-colored nail polish. The picture below shows what results when Katie's failure collides with my tendency to do too much of number 5 from my previous post and subsequent oblivion to the sudden silence in the house...
Any suggestions for removing nail polish from flat wall paint?
I think I'll close my laptop and read a book. Escape...

Oh my goodness!!! We just had the same thing happen at our house, but it didn't end up on the wall-it was the carpet instead. The 3 year old darling opened the bottle herself. Note to self: all finger polish is out of sight in the medicine cabinet.
Oh Gawd! I'll take nail polish on the wall over nail polish on the carpet any day! Did you get it out? BTW--this is not my family's first encounter with polish. Will I ever learn???
A nice movie poster will cover that right up.
Great idea...or maybe a rock-n-roll poster. Like Boston. SMOKIN'! (OK, you'd have to have read my Feb. 6 post to even get that.)
yeah, silence is almost never good unless they are sleeping. even then i wouldn't trust it. magic eraser maybe.
Sleeping would have been nice. Magic Eraser has become my new best friend. The saddest part: I didn't punish her because I was secretly glad to have some blog fodder!
bummer angela,
sorry. reminds me of when i walked into a bedroom and my now teen girl (then a toddler) had used the poop filled diaper to paint her wall all over!!! gross!! i know!
how about painting over it? can't think of anything else.

Kathleen: I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only mom who has dealt with poop art. Hannah had discontinued that...um...creative phase before I started my blog. Fingernail polish is a step up, huh?
angela -- yes, an important step up!! haha. kathleen
